November 2021: Welcome Members and Visitors to our new website, replacing our previous site which ran for the last decade! Please explore and find your way around.
Oundle is a small East Midlands market town with about 6,500 inhabitants, situated in the valley of the River Nene, between Peterborough and Northampton.
The central market area and adjacent streets have attractive stone built houses, and a good range of independent shops.
Nene Valley is the third Probus Club to be established in Oundle and the surrounding area. Our maximum membership is 45, but we have vacancies at present.
We usually meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at the Oundle Golf Club. One Tuesday we meet for a lecture and lunch, on the other Tuesday we meet for Coffee and Business and a short talk by one of our members. Meetings are at 10.30 am for a 10.45 am start.
We welcome visitors from other Probus Clubs to our Luncheon Meetings, but ask that places are reserved using the contact form page, by the Saturday preceding a luncheon, at the latest.
The Nene Valley Probus Club is for gentlemen who have retired or are about to retire from PROfessional or BUSiness occupations. We aim to promote friendship and fellowship amongst members, and activities for their mutual benefit.
